Kitewing Sports is the new global distributor of Dirtsurfer
® inline boards
Kitewing sports Ltd, the developer and manufacturer of the handheld wingsails Kitewing, is the new
distribution licensee for Dirtsurfer
. The license grants Kitewing Sports the exclusive manufacturing.

The Dirtsurfer inline board is a revolutionary product targeted at snowboarders and surfers that
wish to ride when the surf isn't up or the powder isn't there.
Traditional skateboards, or mountainboards, incorporate a chassis or truck system that moves
independently from the deck, while surfboards and snowboards completely lean with and are at
one with the rider; there is no secondary truck system. The two-wheeled in-line design of the
Dirtsurfer boards allow them to truly mimic the great fluid-turning motion of surfing and
snowboarding because they too lean with the rider without a compromise between a separate deck
and chassis.

Kitewing Sports Ltd, founded in 1993 in Finland, is the manufacturer and developer of Kitewings,
the handheld wingsails originally designed for sailing on ice and snow. Later the sport became
popular also in the ski resorts, where young snowboarders and skiers demonstrated that it was
possible to even sail uphill and make huge jumps and tricks with the ultralight wing.
Wing riding has became equally popular in the summer season, used together with a Dirtsurfer,
montainboard or in-line skates. There is also a wing designed for water use.
The number of Kitewing riders has in been increasing rapidly and there are now dealers in thirty
countries.

The current Dirtsurfer dealer network will, in most part, continue as before. In order to develope the
dealer network further, Kitewing dealers will distribute Dirtsurfer in some of the markets where
Dirtsurfer has not been present before. Kitewing Sports will also seek new dealers in other
markets, not yet covered.
